IPEC Launches Monthly IPEC Forum Podcast

Commissioner Dr Grace Muradzikwa Headlines Inaugural Episode

The Insurance and Pensions Commission (IPEC) is pleased to announce the launch of its new monthly podcast series, IPEC Forum, a strategic consumer education and awareness platform designed to deepen public understanding of insurance and pensions matters in Zimbabwe.

The podcast is aimed at enhancing transparency, improving insurance and pensions literacy, and strengthening engagement with policyholders, pension scheme members, industry players and the general public.

The IPEC Forum will provide a structured, accessible and informative platform where key regulatory developments, consumer protection issues, and emerging trends are discussed in detail by subject-matter experts.

Each episode will feature IPEC representatives, including the Commissioner, technical experts and other stakeholders. The programme will unpack complex regulatory and technical matters in a simplified, conversational format to ensure clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.

The inaugural episode features IPEC Commissioner, Dr Grace Muradzikwa, and will premiere on Friday 27 February at 10:00am.

In this episode, the Commissioner shares strategic insights into the Commission’s regulatory priorities, ongoing reforms in the insurance and pensions sector, consumer protection and policyholder rights, and IPEC’s vision for a sustainable, inclusive and resilient industry.

You can watch the premiere here.

We encourage all stakeholders, including pensioners, policyholders, industry, employers, students, and members of the public to join the live premiere and participate in the conversation.

The IPEC Forum Podcast will also be available online on IPEC’s official digital platforms. Subscribers will receive monthly notifications whenever a new episode is released.
