• Duties and Responsibilities include:  Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.  Supporting the roll-out of new applications.  Investigating and resolving user-reported PC problems and application issues logged through the IT helpdesk ticketing system.  Ensure 1st Line incidents and service requests for a wide range of internal and external applications are resolved within the defined SLA.  Ensures ICT inventory is updated regularly and maintains adequate stock levels.  Drafts and updates technical documentation for all IT equipment.  Training and development of staff (end-users) on ICT systems as may be needed.  Escalates high-priority incidents to both internal and external teams, as appropriate.  Research and recommend to management emerging technologies.  Ensure all computers are protected from viruses by ensuring that all computers are installed with an acceptable antivirus.  Liaise with other IT Unit staff as appropriate to achieve excellence in overall IT service delivery.  Performing any other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Qualifications and Personnel Specifications  BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent.  Two years’ traceable experience in an extensive ICT services environment  Professional certification is an added advantage.  Knowledge of ITIL processes – particularly incident and problem management, and request fulfillment.  Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Hardware, Software, and Networking  Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft 365 or other technology as an added advantage.

  • Duties and Responsibilities include:  Analyse regulated entities’ financial statements, monitor performance, and produce annual reports.  Assessment of entities’ compliance with IFRS, IAS, and other regulatory matters.  Assist in the development of technical papers for adoption by entities.  Checks the reliability and integrity of information submitted by entities.  Carries off-site and on-site inspections on regulated entities focusing on technical issues.  Must ensure that correspondence from the industry is timeously responded to.  Performs any other duties within the scope of the job.
  • Required competencies and capabilities.  Must have excellent process evaluation and analysis skills.  Must have a thorough understanding of market trends, and accounting standards and be able to advise management accordingly.  Ability to conduct research, benchmark, interrogate issues, synthesize, interpret relevant information, and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Qualifications and Experience The Ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience : • A degree in Accounting, ACCA, CIS, CIMA, ICAZ, or equivalent. • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the Insurance sector.
